A high speed matrix routing switcher for controlling component video (RGB), digital and stereo audio signals. It has 8 inputs and 8 outputs. Because it is a matrix router, any of the inputs may be routed to any of the outputs, or the same input may be routed to all outputs or a combination. It completely eliminates the need to constantly move around audio and video input and output cables. The switcher is ideally suited for high definition television applications. Control is provided via front push buttons. An RS232 interface is provided for PC control.
